    Etching Tank : The surface is etched to remove heavy oxides.

    Chromate/Phosphate Tank : Material is dipped into a chromate or phosphate solution to form a conversion coating. This film gets chemically attached to the material.

  • Anodizing

    Conveyorized Anodizing Plant has a well prescribed step by step process to attain satisfactory quality of anodizing.

    Pre treatment Tank : Cleaning done in heated alkaline detergent to remove accumulated contaminations and light oils.

    Rinsing Tank : Rinsing vigorously in de-ionized water after each step.

    Etching Tank : Etching in caustic Soda before anodizing to chemically remove a thin layer of aluminum to prepare it for anodizing.

    Desmutting Tank : Rinsing in an acidic solution to remove unwanted surface alloy constituent particles not removed by Etching Process.

    Anodizing Tank : Aluminum is immersed in a tank containing an electrolyte having a 15% sulfuric acid concentration. Electric current is passed through the electrolyte and the aluminum is made the anode in this electrolytic cell; the tank is the cathode. Voltage applied across the anode and cathode causes negatively charged anions to migrate to the anode where the oxygen in the anions combines with the aluminum to form aluminum oxide (Al2O3).

    Coloring Tank : Anodic films are well suited to a variety of coloring methods including absorptive dyeing, both organic and inorganic dyestuffs, and electrolytic coloring.

    Sealing Tank : Hydrothermal treatment in chemical baths or by capping the pores via the precipitation of metal salts in the pore opening to provide maximum resistance to corrosion and stains and to attain satisfactory performance of the coating.
